UWA Currie Hall

Prestigious new $68m student housing redevelopment.

As part of this prestigious new $68m student housing redevelopment of Currie Hall on UWA’s Nedlands Campus Atelier JV completed the design of two specialist areas of the façade.   This work included work on the design of hung glass and cantilevered mullions of combined steel and aluminium section for the apron of an undercroft to a feature tower on one of the blocks.  It also involved the design of atypical glazing for double height spaces to the student common rooms at the top of the block.

This project was awarded The Harold Krantz Award for Residential Architecture - Multiple Housing in the 2014 WA Architecture Awards.
