Overview

The Perth City Link project began with linking of the Fremantle rail line. The new underground bus station will recoonect Northbridge and the CBD of Perth. In addition this will complete the transport component of the project.

Key Structural Design Features

The top down construction of the new Wellington Street Bus Port piles and large slab were initially constructed and then excavated underneath. The pile design allowed for staged construction of multi-level office and residential buildings on top of the bus port and compliance of piles and columns with durability requirements to achieve a 100 year design life.
